Our September luncheon will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 at the Citrus Club in downtown Orlando. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon starts at noon.
Our featured speaker will be Tiffany Cummins Nick, Assistant U.S. Attorney. Tiffany Cummins Nick is an Assistant United States Attorney in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida, handling civil rights investigations and litigation. Additionally, Tiffany serves as her office’s United Against Hate Coordinator, leads the Middle District of Florida’s Servicemembers and Veterans Working Group, and teaches Trial Advocacy at the Department of Justice’s National Advocacy Center in Columbia, South Carolina. Tiffany has also served in the Criminal Division of the US Attorney’s Office, prosecuting federal violent crimes, child exploitation matters, and criminal civil rights cases, and worked as a Trial Attorney in the Educational Opportunities Section of the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division. Prior to joining the US Attorney’s Office in 2015, she worked in private practice doing employment litigation defense for the law firms of Baker Hostetler in Orlando, Florida, and Paul Hastings in Washington, DC, and she served as a Law Clerk to United States District Judge Mary S. Scriven in the Middle District of Florida. Tiffany received her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and her B.A. from Wake Forest University.
